Busy Days, Easy Dinners Meal Plan

Fall is here, the weather has changed, and I’m adding more comfort foods to our meal plan this week.

Menu plan with recipe links

On this week’s meal plan I’m making a few slow cooker dishes.

I love being able to put everything in the slow cooker at the beginning of the day, then at dinner time it’s ready for us to eat. I only have to make a salad or a vegetable side and fruit to complete our meal. It makes getting dinner done so easy and simple.

My whole family enjoyed the pita pocket sandwiches for dinner a few weeks ago, so they are on the menu for this week too.

I purchased the pita pocket bread again this time because we are adjusting to our back to school routine, so I took the easy route and purchased the pitas. But with the cooler weather I’m looking forward to making them myself soon.

What’s cooking at your house this week?

This is an easy and delicious baked donuts recipe. Who wouldn’t love double chocolate donuts that are baked to help keep the fat down? Better yet, these are also dairy free donuts too. You’ll have to see how easy these are to make. If you can measure and stir you can make them too.

  1. Wow, your donuts looks like they came from a bakery! They look too good to eat 🙂

I’m making lasagna in the crock pot again this week, as well as some other family favorites, like bratwurst on the grill, and sloppy joes. My son requested my mac and cheesedog casserole this week, but since we are dieting, my husband and I can’t eat that, so I’ll have to make it for lunch over the weekend for the kids.

    Have a great week!
