Eating from the Freezer Menu Plan

Happy Monday to you. I hope your week is starting out good and you have a plan for your meals for this week. This week we will be eating from the freezer since it will be a busy week this week.

I love having meals tucked away in the freezer ready to go. Most of the meals I put in the freezer are easy to make. I have a few I cook before freezing but most of the freezer meals I make are meat with marinades. They are thaw and cook meals. That can be made on the grill or in the slow cooker or some on the stove top.

I have plans for freezer meals with chicken and pork that I use often. I also prepare ground beef ahead of time too. I find making freezer meals when I find the meat on sale really saves us quite a bit of money.

  1. Hi, Shelly! We had breakfast for dinner at our house today. Your menu plan looks good, and I hope you all have a great week! 🙂

    1. Breakfast for dinner is delicious, inexpensive, and everyone seems to love it too. I hope you have a great week too.

  2. I made a new-to-us recipe this weekend that was super delicious…a bacon ranch chicken casserole. All four of us loved it!

Your hamburgers look so good that I think I’m going to put them on my menu for this weekend. There’s nothing like a good grilled burger in the summer 🙂

    1. I agree grilled burgers are so good in the summer. The bacon ranch chicken casserole sounds really good too.

  3. Am I the only one that hates breakfast for dinner? Lol making waffles one at a time for 5 hungry boys is torture. It takes about 45 minutes for everyone to get fed and we don’t eat together because it is best to eat them hot. The kids like it.

Maybe I should try french toast!

I will for sure try the teriyaki meatballs. Love prepped freezer meals.

Love your podcasts. Please keep doing them. I listen when I walk in the mornings.

    Blessings, Heidi

    1. Oh Heidi, I bet that would be hard to get enough waffles for 5 hungry boys at once. I know it’s hard at times to keep up with just the 4 of us. But I do get ahead 2-3 waffles and we eat while the others are cooking but I do have a big waffle iron which makes 4 big sized waffles at a time.

I appreciate you letting me know you are enjoying the podcasts. Thanks!
