Simple Dinners Menu Plan

This week our menu plan is a simple one. Most of the dinners are easy to make meals or meals from the freezer. Which makes it super easy for me to get dinner on the table without too much work.

Menu plan with recipe links

We’ll be eating chicken, pork chops, meatballs, and pulled pork from the freezer.

The pulled pork turns out so tender and delicious on the barbecue. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it.

We’ll also be having breakfast for dinner. Making breakfast for dinner helps me to keep my grocery budget low, everyone in our family loves it and it easy for me to make to. I’m trying to remember to include one breakfast for dinner each week.

I’ll also be making a new favorite of ours, ground beef stroganoff. It’s so good and it’s a one pot meal. I add a salad and fruit and dinner is done.

What’s cooking at your house this week?

Here’s what’s on our Menu Plan this week,

Dinners

Freezer recipe for chicken

World Best Chicken, Mashed Potato, and Green Beans

Ground Beef Stroganoff, Salad, and Fruit

Chicken and Artichoke Casserole, Salad, and Fruit

Pan Fried Pork Chops, Mashed Potatoes, and Salad

BBQ Meatballs, Creamy Chive Mashed Potatoes, and Salad

Eggs, Sausage, Toast, and Hash Browns

This is the best potato salad recipe ever. It has the creaminess of original potato salad but with an added crunch of bacon. Yum, who can resist bacon? Then add the fresh taste of the parsley and chives to make the perfect potato salad recipe. I love to make this recipe for barbecues and parties, everyone raves about it.

Pull Pork Sandwiches, Macaroni Salad, Potato Salad, and Fruit

Lunches

Leftover Most Days

BLT Sandwiches, Chips, and Fruit

Burritos,  Chips, and Fruit

Breakfasts

I don’t think you can ever have too many breakfast recipes. This chocolate chip scone recipe is one of our favorites. These chocolate chip sones have no heavy cream, in fact they are dairy free scones. Another plus is you can make them in the skillet, so you don’t have to heat up the house on warmer days to bake them.

Toast and Eggs (our weekday breakfast)

Chocolate Chip Scones, Sausage, and Eggs

Pancakes, Eggs, and Sausage

  1. I can’t wait to see your pulled pork recipe! I’ve never tried making it on the barbeque…I’ve done it in the oven and in the crockpot and both are good, but I think the flavor of the barbeque would be even better.

    1. I’m hoping to have the recipe up next week Erin. The pulled pork turns out so good from the barbecue. I’ve made it in the crockpot before but I really prefer it off the barbecue. I need to try making it in the oven too.
