How to Make This Easy Deviled Eggs Recipe

To make this recipe, the first task that needs to be done is to hard boil the eggs. I usually hard boil my eggs by placing them in a pan of cold water over high heat. I place a lid on top of the pan. Once they start to boil rapidly, I turn off the heat and let them sit on the burner for 14 minutes with the lid on.

The hard boiled eggs usually turn out just perfect with this hard boiling technique. I cool them in an ice water bath for a few minutes and then peel them with this easy technique.

Assembling the Deviled Eggs

Once your hard boiled eggs are cooled, it’s time to devil them. Cut the eggs in half and remove the yolk. I like to smash the yolks with my potato masher. Before I mash the yolks, I’ll add in the pickle juice, mustard, salt, and pepper. I’ll mash the egg yolks until smooth.

Once the yolks are mashed smooth, I’ll add the mayonnaise and whip with a spoon to mix in well.

To finish them off you can sprinkle with paprika and a little parsley if desired.

  1. My family loves deviled eggs, but I never think to make them for snacks! I’ll have to make a batch this weekend to keep on hand in the fridge.

Thanks for the helpful video and technique on how to fill the eggs easily 🙂

    1. The baggie method really makes filling the eggs so much easier. They also turn out look a lot cleaner. When I fill them by hand the filling always gets on the eggs. 🙂
