3 Simple Goals for This Week

My three simple goals for this week.

I think cutting down my goals to just three helped me to focus more. I was able to get them all done last week which was great.

My Goals from last week were,

Clean out the garden

The garden looks so much better now that I’ve removed the dead and dying plants. We still have tomatoes that are ripening, carrots, and a few peppers. I was hoping to get a couple more zucchini, but I think they are done. I left the plants in the garden just in case I’m wrong.

Restart my Rug project

This rug project has been one on my goal list for a while and I finally got around to working on it. I didn’t make a huge amount of progress, but small progress is better than none at all.

Focus on my water consumption

I was able to increase my water consumption a bit. It was easier to do than I thought it would be because the weather was a little warmer. I also found if I starting drinking water right in the morning I tended to keep up with it all day.

My 3 Simple Goals for this Week

Goal #1

Our tomatoes plants keep on giving tomatoes. I’ve decided not to can them this year and I’m drying them instead. I have four containers of tomatoes to dry and I’m wanting to get them done this week before more tomatoes ripen again.

Goal #2

Make a plan for the 20 pounds of chicken I’ll be picking up from Zaycon Fresh early next month. I like to make my plans way ahead so I can pick up the ingredients I need ahead of time. Well, all the ingredients that will keep.

Goal #3

Write one blog post per day. Since I’m doing the Write 31 days challenge, getting one post written a day is a must. I have a small buffer of posts written and want to keep them ahead all month.

Those are my 3 simple goals to work on for this week. What goals will you be working on?

    1. Thanks, Sandra. It hasn’t been easy to get going on but I’m glad to have made a little progress. 🙂

  1. Good luck with your goals this week. I need to clean up our garden too and work on blog posts for our upcoming readathon and the Blog Ahead challenge.

    1. Thanks, Tanya. The Blog Ahead challenge sounds like something I might need. I used to be almost a month ahead in planning and writing, but I lost my buffer I would like to get it back. 🙂

  2. I’m glad that you got the rug started…hopefully it will be done soon!

I’ve got a list of little things to do this week, like call an exterminator for some termite-like bugs in our yard (we just want an expert to check to make sure we don’t have termites). The weekend is going to be busy with birthday parties, Cub Scout hike and church meetings.

    Have a great week 🙂

    1. Oh, I hope they aren’t termites Erin. Sounds like a busy week at your house. I hope your week goes well and you’re not too tired come the end of the week. 🙂
