Goal for March

Wow, another month has just flown by. I’m so ready for spring and longer days. March is just a great month for so many changes around here. Less gloomy days more sunny days. Flowers start to pop up and the birds return.

I'm updating how I did on my goals last month and my plans for this month too. What goals are you working on?

Goals for March

This month I’ll be working on 5 main areas. Homeschooling, Weight Loss, Blog Growth, Family Time, and Organizing my Time. I’ve updated below the progress I made on each goal as well as my plans for this month too. I would love to have you share in the comments below what your goals are for this month too.

Homeschooling

Last month my son did really well working on reading and getting ready for his test. He is making good progress. We will continue working on reading and test prep this month. The plan for this month is to work on the test prep book each week. I’m also going to continue working with him on his reading, having him read to me 15 minutes a day.

Family Time

I’d like to spend family time with the kids three times each week, doing something fun with them and my hubby. Last month we enjoyed playing Nintendo and working on a few project together. This month’s goal is to spend family time together 15 minutes three times a week, just like last month.

Weight Loss

I met my goal for last month, getting exercise in each week. This month I’m going to focus on 10 minutes of exercise three days a week. I’m only working three days a week since our weather is getting better and I’ll be doing more yard work which is a really good workout too. I also weighed myself and lost 2.5 pounds this month. Which I’m really excited about.

Blog Growth

I’ve been working on my Facebook schedule for a while and I have a system down that seems to be working. I’ll be working on setting up a schedule for Pinterest this month. I had one in place for a while but I need to tweak it a little. That’s my growth goal for this month.

Organizing my Time

I worked on the calendar course this past month. I was able to complete two of the lessons by the end of the month. This month my goal is to get two more lessons done.

Those are my 5 main goals for this month. Most of these goals will go for 6-12 months, the organizing my time will be a 3-month goal. With the steps I learned in the Make Over Your Year Course. I was able to break down my goals into steps for each week and each month to reach my goals. We will see how it goes for this year.

A helpful book I read this month,

I also wanted to share about a book I read last month. It really has changed my thinking in a good way. I’m working on setting up a life plan to help me get to the things that are most important in my life. 1. Congratulations on your weight loss! I’ve been working on that too, and it seems to be a never-ending thing.

I’m hoping to get my blog cleaned up a bit this month and try switching to another email provider. I’m also going through a photography course a bit at a time, trying to improve my picture-taking skills.

    Have a great month!

    1. Thanks Erin, I need to organize my blog but I think it will have to wait to later this month or next. I’ll eventually get to it. I hope your move to another email provider goes smoothly. I hope you have a great month too!
