Goals for the Week of 5/5

This week I made some good progress on my goals. I was able to get some planting done in the garden this week. I also finished up the 30 Day House Cleaning Challenge and started a new Clutter Busting Challenge. Which goes right along with my goal of getting our clutter under control for this year.

I didn’t get to try a new recipe this week and I only read to my son two days this week instead of five like I had hoped but I will transfer those goals over to this week. All in all it wasn’t a bad week at all.

Here is what I was able to accomplish this past week,

Continue with Bible CD’s at Breakfast

Continue regular story time with my sons (we got in two days this past week)

Continue with the 30 Day House Cleaning Challenge and blog about it (I finish up this challenge this week)

Try a new recipe

Continue working on the blog design transfer

Plant more seeds in the garden (I planted some radishes, lettuce, green onions and leeks)

Continue my exercising 5 days a week and add more repetitions

Attend a webinar (I attended a webinar on Rebel Mouse you can see my page here)

Make a blogging plan for this next month ( Started the Clutter Busting Challenge and I will be doing some updates posts too)

This Week’s Goals

Have regular read aloud time with my son

Make a call or send a note of encouragement to someone this week

Exercise 5 days this week alternating my Cross Fit and Pilates routines

Drink 6 glasses of water

Read one chapter of the book Platform (my affiliate link)

Write 2013 Goals update post

Write Weight Loss update post

Continue work on my theme transfer

Try a new recipe

Participate in the Clutter Busting Challenge and blog about it each week day.

That’s my plan for this week. What goals are you working on this week?

  1. Good job on your goals last week Shelly! I am going to try to make read alouds a regular part of our evening routine instead of letting the kids watch television. We’ll see how it goes…I’m not sure it will be too popular at first!

    1. My son loves to play with the iTouch. We have started limiting the time he gets to spend with the electronics and substituting in other things like read aloud time and lately both the kids have been preforming “shows” each evening for my husband and myself. Tonight they got the dogs into the act and had both the dogs doing tricks.
