Goals for the Week of August 23rd
This last week was a nice week at our house. We were able to get quite a bit done. The kids were able to go swimming once this week. We thought we would be able to enjoy the pool over this weekend, but on Saturday morning smoke moved into our area.
There are a bunch of wildfires burning around us. They are miles away, but the wind shifted and funneled all of that smoke right into where we live. You can see smoke everywhere, even today. It smells like a huge campfire outside. So we didn’t spend any time outside yesterday and we aren’t planning on being outside again today. It’s just too smokey. Hopefully the wind will shift again soon and move it out.

I’m sorry to hear about the wildfires in your area, Shelly. 🙁 I pray they’re all out soon.
I hope the canning goes well this week. My sister-in-law recently gave us a jar of canned spaghetti sauce that I’m looking forward to trying soon. 🙂

Some of my goals for this week are to get some of my blogging ideas all organized…I fell off the organizing wagon over the summer…and to get our guest bathroom painted. I bought the paint in January, but haven’t gotten around to using it. Now that the kids are back to school, I should be able to get that room painted very quickly 🙂
