Goals for the Week of July 28

This past week was a busy week. I ended up purchasing a box of corn, 8 pounds of strawberries, and 7 pounds of Rainer cherries. So I was busy pitting and slicing and boiling getting all the produce ready for the freezer or dehydrator. The corn was so unbelievably sweet, I was so glad I purchased it. Be sure to check out my post on freezing cherries if you have some surplus cherries you need to put away for the winter.

I didn’t get to everything this week, but I did accomplish most of my goals. So all in all it was a good week.

Here’s the things I accomplished this past week,

Read one chapter in each book, PlatformBetter Than a BoxSimple Blogging (affiliate links)

Work on my  sewing project (this fell by the wayside with all the food to take care of)

Get 7 hours of sleep each night

Drink 8 glasses of water ( I failed miserably at this goal this week)

Read to my son 3 times this week (we read twice this week)

Exercise 5 times this week

Write 4 posts

Work on guest post (didn’t get to this project at all)

Goals for this Week

Attend a Google+ Hangout

Exercise 5 times this week

Drink 8 glasses of water

Start decluttering my son’s room

Work on guest post

Read to my son 3 times this week

Read one chapter in each book, PlatformBetter Than a BoxSimple Blogging (affiliate links)

Canning peaches or pickles if they are ready for purchase at the farm stand

  1. The corn and the cherries sound delicious! 🙂 I have issues with drinking enough water, too. I can never seem to do it, and it’s something I need to work on. I’m sure my body would thank me, if I did.

    1. The corn was just amazing. It was so sweet and juicy. My kids and husband kept coming and stealing it out of the bowl as I was trying to process and package it for the freezer. Even the cat was begging for this corn. 🙂
