Goals for the Week of November 1st

My three simple goals for this week.

While doing the 31 days of Frugal Simple Living series, I realized that cutting my goals back to just 3 to do each week helped me to get more done. I think just having 3 goals to focus on helped me to get those three things done and I usually could take on more or two more things in the week.

Since it worked out so well I’m going to continue my goals for the rest of the year, with just 3 simple goals each week.

My goals from last week,

Finish Writing the 31 Day Series
Woohoo! I made it to the end and didn’t miss a day. I hope you enjoyed the series and if you missed any of the articles you can always go back and read them by following this link. I’m glad to be going back to a lighter posting schedule for this month.

Harvest the Last of the Tomatoes from the Garden
I was able to get the tomatoes out of the garden early in the week. Our weather changed to windy rainy weather later in the week, I was glad I didn’t have to be out in it. I picked the last of the tomatoes, slightly ripened to fully green ones and wrapped them up to ripen indoors. I think we have about 60 tomatoes. Which will be great to enjoy in the days to come.
Make a Holiday Plan
I was able to get my Thanksgiving plan for food ready. Now all I need to do is pick up the items as I see them on sale. My kids made their Christmas gift list so I can start to shop and pass along ideas to other family members. But I still need to gather my candy and cookie recipes and make my list of supplies I’ll need to make those.

My 3 Simple Goals for this Week

Goal #1
Plan my posts out for the rest of the year. I like to know what I’m writing about ahead of time to make it much easier on me. If you have anything you want me to write about you can send me your ideas through my contact form.

Goal #2
Write my review of Money Making Mom (affiliate link). I finished the book and I’ll be publishing a review on Tuesday the launch day. But if you pre-order the book by November 2nd, you can get a few nice bonuses when you fill out this form.

Goal #3
Gather up my candy recipes and decide on which cookies and candies I’ll be making for Christmas this year. If you need a few good candy recipes you can check out my 31 days of sweet treats series.

  1. Congratulations on your 31 days series! It was such a great one 🙂 I’m sure many people will be helped because of it.

This week I’m feeling like I’m under a lot of pressure, since we have our monthly learning session at church, and I’m one of the directors. That, plus having to write some sponsored posts, as well as an Advent devotion, as well as keeping up with my regular blogging duties has me overwhelmed! I’ll be glad when this week is over 🙂
