Goals for This Week 6/16

This week we seemed to get lots done around our home. Well that is except we didn’t get much reading done this week with my son. He had lots of fun this week making videos of himself so that took up lots of time this week. He is such a little ham. I am hoping this week to have him pick out about 5 or 6 books he wants me to read to him and we will work on reading one a day. I think if we have them laying out, it will help remind me to get it done.

Here’s the other things I accomplished this past week,

Read to my son each day

Exercise 5 days a week

Drink 6 glasses of water each day

Write 6 posts this week

Continue review with my daughter for her standardized testing

Read one chapter in each book, Platform, Better Than a Box and Simple Blogging

Submit a guest post

  1. I’m so glad to see that you were able to get in all your exercise last week! I know that you have been focusing on that for a while…good for you!

    1. I have been fairly good about keeping up with the exercising. I know you are good at getting your exercise in each week too.

  2. Hey! I love that you are posting your goals online. I find it helps keep me accountable!

I am curious where you submit your guest posts? Trying to figure out some ways to get my blog to grow. First, I need to do some updating 🙂

    1. I post my goals for the accountability too. Lydia, I have one guest post that I need to submit to Money Saving Mom (yes I have been really procrastinating on this goal). There is also a page at Blogelina that has list for blogs looking for guest posts and you can list your own blog if you take guest posts. I try to approach bloggers who I comment regularly on their blogs to see if I can submit a guest post. Money Saving Mom has a form to fill out, for other bloggers you might try contacting them through email if they don’t have a guest posting page.

  3. You did a great job on your goals last week, Shelly! I just submitted my first guest post in a LONG TIME on how to grow your Twitter followers. My post should be published on Thursday, and I’m going to share it on social media when the time comes.

Where are you submitting a guest post?

    1. Thanks Sandra, I submitted mine to Money Saving Mom. I don’t know when or if it will get posted but I am hoping. This is my first time at submitting a guest post. But I really would like to start guest posting more often. Where did you submit your twitter post?
