Goals for this Week, April 26th

My goals for this week and how last week went too.

I finally finished the spring cleaning in the kitchen. Yes, it’s been a couple of weeks since I started, but it’s done now and I’m glad to have that job finished. I finished the last four cupboards and cleaned up the counters. Everything looks great in the kitchen.

In one of the cupboards, I found some expired food. I’m not talking just past the date either. I mean a couple of years past the date on the can. So I ended up throwing out a whole shelf full of food. I don’t know how I missed using the items in that cupboard, but I did. It was really frustrating to have to throw out the food but it will help motivate me to keep better tabs on rotating my pantry stock.

I worked on updating the budgeting series and I’m about half way done. It’s been more work than I thought it would be, but I’m happy to finally be getting to it. I didn’t work on my rug project this week so it will be moved to next week again. I promise one of these days I get it done.

How did you do on your goals this past week?

  1. You did a great job on your goals last week, Shelly. For this week, I’m hoping to come to a decision on an external microphone for our camera and actually purchase it. There are so many choices and so many opinions on which ones are good and not good that it’s hard to choose.

I hope you and your family have a great week week! 🙂

  2. Great job on your goals! I once found expired food that I moved from one house to another expired. Keeping up with food before it goes bad is a challenge for me. Love to see your rug when it’s done. I haven’t ever made one.
