Goals for This Week, April 5th

My goals for this week and how last week went too.

Happy Easter to all of you! I know this year Easter seemed to arrive early. I was thinking it should have been later. Funny how some holidays can just sneak up on you.

We did get a few eggs colored, but not much else. I’m hosting Easter dinner at our house. I love to cook, and it’s nice to have a family holiday dinner.

As for my goals this past week, I didn’t get any spring cleaning in the kitchen done. I did clean the whole house for the company we are having, but the extra cleaning in the kitchen just didn’t happen. There’s always next week.

I also didn’t get to work on the rug I’m making either. The pinning schedule just took more time than I had planned. But I’m finished the pinning schedule so I should be set for a while.

Here’s the things I was able to accomplished this past week,

Family

Continue spring cleaning the kitchen

Listen to one chapter in the audiobook the kids picked out.

Personal

Work on a making a new rug

Exercise 5 times this week

Get to bed by 10:30 each night

  1. You did a great job on your goals, Shelly. 🙂 I didn’t accomplish a few of my goals last week, either, but that’s okay. We spent a lot of time together as a family and had a great Easter celebration.

    1. Spending time making memories definitely more important than a few tasks that can be left for another day. 🙂 Glad to hear you had a good Easter.

  2. I hope you and your family had a nice Easter! We had a nice church service, although there were so many visitors that it was a little crowded. I tried out a new dessert for Easter dinner (toffee squares) that turned out so well…they were easy and everyone liked them.

This week will be a bit quiet for me, thankfully, so I’m going to use it to catch up on some blog work and hopefully get my scrapbook finished.

  3. That’s great that you were able to cross exercising off your list.My treadmill broke last week (not that it was getting a lot of use) and I’m not quite ready to start walking outside yet. Excuses Excuses 🙂
