Goals for this Week, August 11th

This past week was a busy week around our house. My husband and myself worked on finishing up our fencing project. I was able to complete the deck cleaning and sealing and we were even able to fit in some pool time with the kids. So it was a really productive week around here.

I am trying to switch gears this week to start preparing for our homeschool to start next month. So I will be doing some planning this week. I also want to squeeze in a few projects and fun with the kids this week.

Here’s the things I accomplished this past week,

Work on guest post  (see it at Saving for My Family)

Read one chapter in each book, Platform, Better Than a Box, Simple Blogging (affiliate links)

Exercise 5 days this week

Drink 8 glasses of water (only about 5  day )

Order the remaining books for our homeschooling this year

Work on our home improvement projects, we are building a new fence area and finishing up cleaning and re-sealing the deck

  1. You did great! We always take the last two weeks of Aug to slowly start school. We will do like one subject a day and then go fulltime after the holiday.

    1. Thanks, Danica. We usually will start some school in August too just a subject or two to get back into the flow of the school year. But this year I am a little behind. 🙁

  2. I need to call a friend here soon! I love that you also are making an effort to pray for friends while you are working. I can tell that you value friendship!

You will have to stop over to my blog to check out my goals for the week as well.

    1. Yes, I do value friendship. It’s so important to stay in touch with friends and I find that when I pray while working it makes the work go faster. I will come over to see your goals for this week.
