Goals for this Week, April 13th

This week we had some sun. It was so nice to get outside for a bit and work in the garden. I was also glad to see the weather had improved since my seedlings were getting a little too big to stay inside. The cat kept thinking I was growing the seedlings for her to eat. One of our poor little cucumber plants lost a leaf. 🙁

The kids helped me transplanted the seedlings into a little bigger pots and placed them into the cold frame. Well at least my daughter did. My son decided he didn’t want to get his hands dirty so he played instead. He’s a funny boy, he doesn’t like dirt but will pick up bugs without batting an eye.

I was also able to get three chapters read in the book Platform, I completed reading another ebook and I’m searching for the next one to start. I didn’t get all of my water in this week but I’m making a tiny bit of progress, getting 6 glasses in most days. A little progress is better than none at all.

Here’s the things I was able to accomplished this past week,

Read to my son each day

Help my daughter with her sewing project

Transplant some of the seedlings that have sprouted into bigger pots.

  1. You did a great job with your goals last week, Shelly. I have trouble drinking enough water, too. I’ve found that having it with lemon or lime and a little cayenne pepper works to help me get more in each day.

And my boys love to play with bugs, too. They had trouble finding “friendly” bugs last week, so they kept trying to catch spiders outside! They caught one small one and put it in a container to show off. Boys…lol
