Goals for the Week of February 1st

by Shelly 4 Comments

My goals for this week and how last week went too.

Well, my week didn’t go quite as planned. I forgot to get the seedling starter soil when I picked up the compost for the garden. So, I didn’t get to any planting this week at all. But the garden is tilled and ready to go.  I need to get a little more compost for the berries, I’m hoping I’ll remember the seedling soil during that trip. 🙂

I missed one day of exercising this week but the rest of my goals, I was able to get accomplished. I’m moving my gardening goals to this week. We have been having great weather here, it’s been in the 50-60 everyday, very unusual for January. Sorry to those of you who are knee deep in snow.  I’m really thinking about planting a few peas in the garden and seeing how it goes. Maybe spring will be early this year.

Here’s the things I was able to accomplished this past week,

Family

Plan our garden for this year

Plant a few seeds to start for the garden

Personal

Drink 6 glasses of water a day

Exercise 5 times this week

Get to bed by 10:30 each night

Finish the online CPR class

Blogging

Write 3 posts

Take photos to update a one older post

The weather you’re having where you live is amazing! And very nice! 🙂 We got our first huge snowfall of the year today…over 14 inches so far! My husband and son spent time outside shoveling the driveway, but thankfully, we didn’t have to go anywhere today. I am concerned with how the roads will be tomorrow when my husband has to go to work.

Wow, that is a lot of snow, Sandra. We have only had that much snow, twice in my lifetime here. My kids would love to have that much snow. Hopefully the roads will be plowed in the morning, so your husband won’t have any trouble getting out to work. I hope your kids have fun playing in the snow. 🙂

I like your new graphic…the bird’s nest and eggs are just adorable!

You are so lucky to have such nice weather this time of year…it is just cold, wet and miserable here. That and everyone seems to be getting sick all the time. I’ll be glad when spring arrives, although I’ll probably start complaining about the pollen. Lol, it seems that there is no real perfect time of year!

Good luck on your goals this week 🙂

Thanks Erin! I’m sorry it’s been cold wet and miserable where you are. We get so much rain that when we have good weather this time of year, it seems weird. We did have some rain yesterday, about an inch, but them today it was 57 degrees. Really it feels more like late spring than January. I’m dreading the pollen this year. It looks like it might be early. I saw buds on the cherry trees this weekend. I hope you have a good week, even if the weather isn’t that great. 🙂
