Goals for This Week, June 15th

This week was a little busy. My husband or myself had things to do each night this week except Thursday. I also wasn’t very good at referring back to my goals for this week. I was pleasantly surprised when I actually was able to get most of them done. It’s nice to be able to cross of so many goals at the end of the week. 🙂 Makes me feel like I was productive.

I hope you take the time today to let your Dad or husband know how great they really are. Happy Father’s Day!

I love nice surprises, getting those goals done without having to look at your list. That must mean your goals are becoming part of your routine. I did get Fathers Day presents made, just a picture and a poem but my hubby and his dad seemed to love them. Then we had quite a cookout. Today is my day of rest after a busy weekend cooking and entertaining company. I did get some organizing done in my pantry last week and its motivated me to tackle some more of the kitchen this week.

    1. Tanya, Great job on getting your pantry organized. I hope you are able to get to more of your kitchen this week. I think the kitchen is one of the hardest areas for me to keep organized. 🙂

  2. Good for you Shelly! You made so much progress last week!

I was so tired this week that I went to bed early every night…even 8:45 one night! But then I woke up early everyday (even Saturday) and got to enjoy some quiet time by myself in the mornings.

I hope you have good luck on your goals this week 🙂

    1. Having quiet time in the morning is so nice isn’t it. I hope you have a great week too.

  3. You did have a productive week, Shelly. I know all about setting goals and then forgetting to look back at them… 😉

Now I schedule my goals on my Google Calendar, and that helps tremendously. I even schedule things like vacuuming and walking on the treadmill so that it gets done.

I hope you have a great week, Shelly!

    1. I got lucky this week. 😉

I have a homemaking planner I downloaded and all my cleaning is on the planner. I’ve tried to use something like google calendar but I don’t think I’m using it right. It never alerts me when it supposed to. My husband uses his calendar on his Apple products and really likes it I need to figure one of them out. I’m sure it would help to put them on a calendar. 🙂
