Goals for This Week, June 8th

Wow, this weekend was a long one. We finished rebuilding our garden beds, which was a bigger job than I thought it would be. But I’m so glad it is done. The look so much better.

I was able to get some ice cream made with the kids. The recipe will be up this week. I kept up with my exercising goals and was able to get extra exercising in working in the yard. My muscles are a little sore but that good for me.

I usually get my goals done in the morning but I didn’t get to them until now. Even though it’s almost bedtime I thought I would update how this past week went and my plan for this next week.

Here’s the things I was able to accomplished this past week,

Family

Do a craft project with the kids

Make homemade ice cream

Read to my son

Personal

Read a chapter of the book, Platform (affiliate link)

Drink 6 glasses of water a day (working outside really helped me to keep up with my goal of drinking water this week)

Exercise 5 times this week ( I did my 5 days of exercise and  got extra exercising in over the weekend outside)

Get to bed by 10:30 each night (I hit this goal every night but two nights so not too bad)

Blogging

Write 3 blog posts ( I actually worked ahead on posts knowing we had a busy weekend so I got them all written)

Watch one photography class video

Do some back office blog tasks ( I was able to get half of my work done, maybe this week I’ll get the rest done)

  1. Good job on your goals Shelly!

We also worked in the yard this weekend. We had 6 cubic yards of mulch delivered–half for us and half for our neighbor–and it took forever to shovel it all into place. After we finished our yard, we helped our neighbor get his done. My arms and shoulders are still sore today from all of that extra activity 🙂

Hope you have a good week 🙂

  2. I have one of those Yonanas machines that turns bananas into soft serve. It’s so yummy! Have you tried that yet? I think I’m going to start making weekly goals too!
