Goals for the Week of November 16th

I’m just a a little late getting my goals up. This morning we were helping the neighbors get our tree out of their yard. If you didn’t see my post on Facebook, the top of our cedar tree broke off in a windstorm this past week.

We were very fortunate that it only fell into the neighbor’s yard and didn’t do any damage, except taking out the power line when it came down. The part of the tree that snapped off was about 70 feet long. So it took us quite a while to get to cleaned up, but for the most part it is done.

We have a large pile of cedar boughs that I need to chop up over the week, but that’s it. It’s nice to have that job done. I was able to get to most of my goals this past week. But I didn’t get my plan made for the holiday candy and cookies. I’m transferring it over to this week.

Here’s the things I was able to accomplished this past week,

Family

Clean up the cedar boughs from our fallen tree

Make plan for holiday cookies and candy

Make plan for homemade gifts

Personal

Drink 6 glasses of water a day

Exercise 5 times this week

Get to bed by 10:30 each night

Blogging

Write 3 blog posts

Work on a chapter in my ebook

  1. Oh, I can’t imagine how long it must have taken to clean up a 70 foot tree! Our neighbor’s 80 foot tree came down in a storm about 2 years ago, and it took a crew of about 5 men from the tree service they hired a whole day to clean it all up.

I hope you have a fabulous week!

    1. The clean up wasn’t too bad. It took us about 5 hours and there was 5 of us. I do have a pile of cedar branches to deal with this week but I tackled part of it today. Two more days and I should have it done.

  2. I’ve done quite a few homemade gifts in the past, but I haven’t really thought about it much this year. I need to start thinking about it, though, because Christmas will be here before we know it. 🙂

Great job on your goals last week despite the crazy weather issues you’ve been having! And I hope this week is much calmer for you all!

    1. Thanks Sandra! I started working on a scarf pattern today. I also made a rose scented sugar body scrub. I’m hoping to get to two gifts this week. Have a great week!
