Goals for the Week of November 30th

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I know we had a great one. I always cook too much food. We had enough turkey left over to make 5 turkey soup kits. I love having starts of meals waiting in the freezer. They make getting dinner done on busy day so much easier.

We did finally get our cookie and candy plan done this week. After putting it off for two weeks, I’m glad to have it done. I also got out to the store to pick up the ingredients I need to make all of them. This week I’ll have to get busy making a few recipes.

I also finished the homemade Christmas gift I was working on too. I have a few more to work on but I’m getting them done. Look for one of the easy Christmas gifts to be up later this week on the blog.

We didn’t get the photo taken for our Christmas card. It was either too rainy this week or just too very cold to be outside taking photos. But we did get our Christmas tree up so I might just have to take the photos indoors this year.

Here’s the things I was able to accomplished this past week,

Family

Make our cookie and candy plan (I have to get to this, this week)

Make a homemade Christmas gift

Plan and prepare our Thanksgiving dinner

Take photos for our Christmas cards this year

Personal

Drink 6 glasses of water a day

Exercise 5 times this week

Get to bed by 10:30 each night

Blogging

Write 3 blog posts

Work on a chapter in my ebook

  1. I’m also making your turkey soup kits this week, although I usually have only enough meat left for one kit. It makes such a nice hearty soup, and we love eating it during the cold winter months.

Can’t wait to see the Christmas gift you made..I crocheted a pair of mittens for my little boy this weekend and they turned out so nice that I think I might make a pair for a gift to someone.

Hope you have a great week Shelly!

    1. I’m sure your son will love the mittens. My daughter made a pair of crocheted mittens last year and she loves them. I’m hoping to get some of the gifts I’ve made, posted soon. They are all really easy project that can be done in a day or less.

I hope you have a great week too, Erin!

    1. We used to do stockings but haven’t in a few years. I’m sure my son would be getting into the stockings if we had some up too. 🙂 I hope you have a great week Sandra!
