Goals for the Week of October 27th

My goals for this week

This week just flew by for some reason. I was able purchase  pears for canning and now I just have to wait for them to ripen. I helped my daughter work on a crocheting project this week and she was able to finish one slipper in just one week. She is currently working on the second one so she can have a new pair of slippers to wear.

I also worked on crocheting slippers for myself and was pleasantly surprised that the pattern was easy enough for me to finish them this week. I also had enough yarn leftover from the slippers, to start a pair of knitted fingerless gloves. I didn’t get around to  working on the knitted scarf I started but I will try to find some time to work on it a bit this week.

Here’s the things I accomplished this past week,

Read to my son each day

Help daughter with a project this week for Home Ec. (sewing and crocheting projects)

Exercise 5 times this week

Purchase pears to can

Work on crocheting slippers

Work on scarf I’m knitting

Write 3 posts this week

Drink more water 7 glasses a day

Read one chapter in each book, PlatformBetter Than a BoxSimple Blogging (affiliate links)

  1. It looks like you make great progress on your goals last week. I love that you’ve taught your daughter how to crochet. I tried learning when I was a young girl but never mastered it and never tried again as an adult. It’s a great skill to have, though. 🙂

  2. Looks like you got a lot accomplished this past week! I am working on crocheting a very simple rag rug, but would love to try some slippers or a winter hat next. My aunt used to make me crocheted slippers when I was a little girl and I just loved them.

Hope you have a great week!

    1. I really needed new slippers and I was so glad they were so fast to make since the weather has turned a bit chilly here. I would love to see your rug when you have it done. I love making t-shirt rugs. I really should make one for my kitchen since the floor is so cold by the sink. Hope you have a great week too!
