  1. I love that you shared easy, practical recipes in the podcast, Shelly. I don’t really freezer cook, but I can see how these tips and recipes would be super helpful for those that buy meat more regularly than we do. 🙂

  2. I used to freezer cook for a while, which was a great time saver. Unfortunately, we had several week-long power outages a few years in a row, and I lost a ton of food due to our freezer not having power. Now I’m a bit leery of filling my freezer so full, but perhaps I can try a few meals at a time this summer. It would be great to be able to pull a freezer bag out and dump it into the crockpot!

    1. Week-long power outages are not good for a fully stocked freezer. We don’t have many outages here and we do have a backup generator if we did. But I can understand why you wouldn’t do much freezer cooking when power outages happen in your area.
