  • 6-7 cups of Sliced Apples
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Pie Crusts


  • Place one pie crust into the pie and seat it in well.
  • Mix the flour and nutmeg together in a small bowl.
  • Place the sliced apples into a large bowl and sprinkle with the flour and nutmeg mixture.
  • Add the brown sugar to the apples and toss to coat well.
  • Place the coated apples into the pie crust in the pan.
  • Arrange the apples so they are heaped and fit inside the pie plate.
  • Place the second pie crust on top of the apples.
  • Tuck any extra pie crust under to form a thick pie crust on the edge.
  • Crimp or flute the pie crust edge.
  • Cut slits in the top of the pie and sprinkle with sugar if desired.
  • Bake 425 for 40-50 minutes or until apples are soft and pie crust is browned.
