Homemade Pancake Syrup, White Sugar Recipe
This is our favorite homemade pancake syrup. It’s super easy to make with 4 simple ingredients. Once you make your own, you’ll never want to go back to store-bought pancake syrup.

White Sugar

Water

teaspoon
Maple Flavoring or Extract

Molasses
Instructions
In a small saucepan, add the water, molasses, and sugar.
Place the burner on high and heat the sugar mixture while stirring with a whisk. Until the sugar is fully dissolved.
Once the sugar is dissolved, stop stirring and heat over high heat until mixture comes to a full rolling boil.
Once the mixture reaches a full rolling boil, turn the burner off but leave the pan on the burner until the bubbling stops.
After the bubbling stops, remove the warm syrup from the burner and stir in the maple flavoring.
Your own syrup is ready to enjoy warm if you like thicker syrup, the syrup will thicken when it’s cools.
