Goals for This Week, July 19th

My goals for this week and how last week went too.

This week again was not the best week for my goals to get done. I really had very good intentions to work on my goals but other things came up this week that needed to get done.

Since the weather was a little cooler early this past week, I did quite a bit of yard work. I was able to trim 3 of our rhododendrons on Monday. Then on Tuesday I tackled our two big pine shrubs. After three hours of working, most of the dead pine needles and branches were removed. I had sap in my hair, on my legs and arms. I also had a lots of cuts and couple of bruises, but it was done. I’m so happy to have those jobs out of the way. I only wished I had put them on my goal list so I could mark them off. 🙂

My goals for this upcoming week look pretty much the same as last week. But I’m giving myself grace and starting a fresh new week with good intentions of working on each one of them.

  1. Oh my…trimming the shrubs sounds like it was a big, messy job! I hope you were able to get the sap out of your hair without too much trouble 🙂

We had a pretty good week last week, even though I didn’t get too much done with my blog. The kids and I had fun at the pool, the library and going to the airport to pick up Daddy from a business trip. This week we have VBS, and I’m volunteering, so I’m sure I won’t get too much done around the house…but at least we’ll have our fun memories!

    Have a great week 🙂

  2. That yard work sounds like it was pretty rough, but thankfully, you have it done now. 🙂

I didn’t get all of my goals crossed off last week, either, but I’m grateful for a new week!
