Goals for this Week, August 10th

I feel like I’m falling behind in our homeschool planning. Usually I’m a big planner and it’s easy for me to tackle it. But this year is different. I’m sorta rebelling against it. I have a basic plan, so we can survive on that but I really should do a bit more with our homeschool schedule this week. The better planned out it is, the smoother our homeschool days go.

The rest of the week was a good week. I really read a bunch, maybe that’s the reason for not getting much homeschool planning done? Or was it the daily pool time with the kids, who knows? 😉 But I actually finished the book I was reading! I ended up reading 10 chapters this week. Luckily they were shorter ones. Now I need to pick a new book to start, hmmm which of the hundreds in my Kindle will it be?

I didn’t even get to the writing I wanted to do for the ebook, but that’s alright, I will try to make time for it this week again.

Here’s the things I was able to accomplished this past week,

Family

Do a craft project with the kids

Continue planning our homeschool schedule

Personal

Read a chapter of the book, Platform (affiliate link)

Drink 6 glasses of water a day (most days I got all 6 glasses in but there were a couple of days I missed a glass or two)

Exercise 5 times this week

Get to bed by 10:30 each night

Blogging

Write 3 blog posts

Write one chapter for a new ebook

  1. Great job getting all that reading in, Shelly. When does your home school year start? We’re starting towards the end of August, and I’m planning a little at a time. 🙂
