21 Days to a Simple Christmas Challenge, Days 6 and 7

 

I didn’t get my update done over the weekend, so here it is. The challenge for the weekend was to read chapter 4 in Celebrating and Savoring a Simple Christmas and to spend some time with my family over the weekend. That is exactly what I did, spent time with my family over the weekend.

It was a great weekend! We put up the kids’ tent, which by is huge, in the kitchen and they camped out. We would usually set it up in our living room but with the wood stove running it just wasn’t safe. So in the kitchen it went. My son thought it was great that we only had a small area to walk around in the kitchen. It was a little challenging to cook though. 🙂

I also read chapter 4 which has some great suggestions on how to save when shopping online. Such as using Ebates and Retailmenot.com for coupon codes. I always look for coupon codes anytime I’m shopping online and I *try* to remember to use Ebates but lately I’ve not been remembering to use it. 🙁

I just love shopping online. There is just something about being able to browse and shop right from the couch that is so appealing to me.
