Looks great, Shelly! We’re having scones and pork chops, too 🙂 Best of luck on the start of your new school year!
Thanks so much Danielle, I almost have all the planning done for our home school next week.
Wow, dinner sounds amazing each and every night. Is there room at your dinner table for one more person? 😉
Thanks and yes we are always open to having guests for dinner.
We are having chicken and fish since we got it on sale last week and froze it. We generally don’t have pork or beef unless it’s on sale-what a luxury! I’m excited to see you are having something “green” every night with dinner-we try to do that too! 🙂
I also stock up on meats when they are on sale and freeze them. I can usually find pork tenderloin less expensive than even chicken in our area if I buy it in the big bag and portion it myself. Beef prices have been going up here but I can usually find ground beef and steak or roast at $2.49/lb and then I stock up. Fish in our area is usually is expensive at $4.99/lb and up. So unless I find a good sale we don’t eat much fish except for tuna or salmon cakes. I occasionally will make crab cakes too.
I try to have something green, some veggie cooked and some veggie raw everyday along with fruit too. I am fortunate my kids are good at eating most things. I got a good deal on artichokes ($1/3) and we had them last night with dinner, so yummy.
