What to Cook for Dinner?
I hope you had a great week last week. This past week our weather has become very summer like. It was almost 90 today, which is way to hot for this cool weather gal.
With all the warm weather our berries are starting to come on strong. All weekend we’ve been eating strawberries and raspberries. They are so delicious!
I didn’t have any trouble getting to be on time this past week. We had some busy days so I looked forward to getting into bed each night.
I got an extra workout in this week too. There was a huge tree that needed to come down at church. It had been struck by lightning a while back. This week the tree was taken down and the wood was split. We were the recipients of a nice load of wood. We so appreciate it.
Because my husband’s back was bothering him and he was in the middle of moving wiring for our modem. I decided to start moving the wood on my own. After I moved about the third wheelbarrow load. Our neighbors came to help.
They carted the wood around and I stacked it. It really made the job go fast. We were finished in about an hour. It’s so wonderful to have such great neighbors. Everyone is great to help one another out. I hope you all have neighbors like we do.
