Goals for this Week, I Need More Sleep

Goals Update

This week I really didn’t do very well at all with getting to bed on time. The few nights I did get to bed on time I just couldn’t fall asleep. The one night I did get to bed at a decent hour I was abruptly woken up by someone racing through our neighborhood. I was jarred out of a deep sleep and I was not happy. So I will be working again this week on getting more sleep. I just hate to feel like I am dragging all day long.

I did get up on time each day and get my exercising in. I’m improving on my water intake, still not quite 8 glasses a day, but I’m making progress. We had fun in the pool this week too. We were able to swim just a couple of days but the kids really enjoyed it. I did get my new theme set up on this blog and I am so glad to have that task done. I will need to work on a few refinements over the next few weeks, but the major part is done.

Here’s the things I accomplished this past week,

Swim with the kids

Read one chapter in each book, PlatformBetter Than a BoxSimple Blogging (affiliate links)

Work on my own sewing project

Get 7 hours of sleep each night (this week I stayed up way to late most nights)

Drink 8 glasses of water (I am doing better, I drank about 6 glasses each day )

Exercise 5 times this week

Read to my son 3 times this week (we didn’t get to reading this week either, I will move it to next week)

Finish Design and load onto the site

  1. Hi Shell! I’m sorry that you haven’t been getting enough sleep lately. I have also been waking up in the middle of the night, for seemingly no reason, and then I can’t get back to sleep for an hour or so. There are also nights when my youngest wakes me up because he has had a bad dream. I hope you can have a better week this week!

  2. Great job on your exercise, Shelly. It’s hard for me to drink enough water, too.

    Oh, and I’m right there with you when it comes to sleep. I don’t always get enough and then it takes me a couple of hours in the morning to feel truly “awake.”
