Goals for this Week, May 17th

My goals for this week and how last week went too.

As I was beginning to type this post, I couldn’t believe that it is already May 17th. Where did the first half of May go? It just flew right by.

I really wanted to do better on my goals for this week but, well, I didn’t. I was able to get a few things crossed off my list but a few things still fell by the wayside. I think the good weather, beaconing me to take on a few things outside, just won out this week.

My main goal for this week is to finish updating my budgeting series. I will get it done this week. The rug project is still staring at me, each time I walk by it. I placed it where I see it often. But even that  hasn’t worked to get me working on it. So, this week I’m going to put it next to my chair. Then when I’m watching television with the kids I can pick it up and work on it a bit. Maybe that will work to get me started on it. 🙂

  1. You still did a pretty good job on your goals even though you didn’t get to the rug and didn’t finish updating your budgeting series. I know all about putting off something on my to-do list even though it’s staring me in the face. 😉

  2. I’m impressed that you managed to go to bed by 10:30. I always put going to bed early on my list but it doesn’t seem to ever happen!

    1. Thanks Mary! It’s taken me a while to be able to reach this goal most weeks. I keep it on my list because when I’ve taken it off I seem to slip back into going to bed to late.

  3. Sounds like you had a fun week last week! It’s nice to be outside in the warm weather 🙂 By the way, the old sheets that I put aside to make into a rug this past winter are still sitting by my bed, so don’t feel bad that you didn’t get yours done yet 😉

    I got all my extra cleaning done last week in preparation for my mom visiting…I even did the blinds in our master bedroom, even though she wasn’t going to see them…they just needed a real good dusting! I’m also a bit ahead on my blog posts, which is good, although I didn’t meet my goal to do a lesson in the niche success course I’m taking.

    1. I have such good intentions to get to my rug project each week but then other things come up that need to be done. Glad to hear you were able to get your cleaning done and get ahead on some blog posts too. It’s alway nice to have a clean house.
