Goals for this Week, February 15th
While I didn’t get to all my goals this week, I did make some progress in a few other areas. Our seeds sprouted, so they were moved from on top of the refrigerator out to the cold frame.
It’s been such nice weather, everyday in the 60’s all week, that there was no reason to dig out the grow lamp and set it up. Now I just hope the weather holds out and it doesn’t suddenly turn cold.
My husband and myself spent all day Saturday cleaning up the yard. There was a lot to do, with cleaning up the last of the remaining leaves, that were hidden around the deck and firewood bins. Then we mowed and edged the lawn. We need to thatch the lawn. But we ran out of time and room in our yard debris bin, so it will need to wait until next week.
I didn’t get to write a guest post this past week. I opted to work on the sidebars again this week instead. I’m hoping to get one written and submitted in the next couple of weeks.
The kids and myself didn’t get around to making a new recipe. But I did read to my son twice this week, just missed that goal by one day. We’ll give both of these goals a try again this week.
Here’s the things I was able to accomplished this past week,
Family
Make a new recipe with the kids
Help my daughter with the doll she is making
Read aloud to my son 3 times this week
Personal
Drink 6 glasses of water a day
Exercise 5 times this week
Get to bed by 10:30 each night
Blogging
Write 3 posts
Work on a guest post
Take photos to update one older post

Great job on your goals this week Shelly! Sounds like your yard is all ready for spring time 🙂
My goals have kind of gone by the wayside recently…with the kids being sick and so many snow days and other scheduled days off from school, I haven’t been able to get that much done. I’m hoping I can get some writing done this afternoon and tomorrow to get ahead on my posts.
Have a great week!
The weather in your area has been amazing this winter, and I’m looking forward to your gardening posts. I’m actually learning from you already, because I didn’t know that people used grow lamps at home. That’s something I’ll have to tuck away in my memory for later. 🙂
