Weekly Goals for June 21st

My goals for this week and how last week went too.

Happy Father’s Day to all of you! I hope you were able to spend some time with your dad and hubby this weekend. Our family went out to lunch and then spent a little time at my parents house, it was nice.

My husband was able to talk with his dad on the phone, we will get to see them in a couple of weeks. They are coming for the 4th of July this year. It promises to be really warm here this year.

I did fairly well on my goals for this week. I missed getting to work on the rug again. But I did get our vinyl fence cleaned on one side. I forgot just how dirty that fence can get. But it looks great now. I need to finish the other side this week.

We also set up the kids swimming pool. It’s a small one, just 8 feet around, but it’s nice to get into to cool off on those hot summer days. It promises to be around 100 degrees by this time next week, so I’m sure we will be enjoying it, when the hot weather hits.

  1. I’m so glad that you all had a nice Father’s Day! We spent the morning at church, then went to lunch, and spent the rest of the day relaxing with a book while the kids played outside with their friends.

This week I want to get us settled into a summer routine, as the kids just finished school last week. We are also supposed to get some very hot weather this week, so I’m sure we won’t do much outside besides go to the pool.

    Have a great week!

    1. We are expected to be close to 100 for about 5 days in a row this week. Other than being out in the pool to splash around I think we will be hanging out in the house most days. Hope you have a great week too.

  2. I’m sure your kids are excited about getting the pool up soon. 🙂 You did a great job on your goals last week, Shelly. I still struggle with getting to bed at a certain time, but I’m working on it and will continue to.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful week!
