DIY Vanilla Mint Sugar Scrub with Free Printable Labels

I’m sharing a post over at my friend Tshanina’s blog, Thrifty T’s Treasures today. It’s a DIY post about how to make Vanilla Mint Sugar Scrub from items you probably have sitting in your cupboard.

A super easy to make sugar scrub that will help to smooth out your dry skin. I love how this recipe works to exfoliate the skin and add some moisture too. It makes my skin feel so soft and smells so good too.

Here’s an excerpt from the post, be sure to head over to Thrifty T’s Treasures to read the rest, get the recipe, and the free printable labels too.

Winter is in full swing at my house and with winter comes cold wind. Even when I cover my skin the cold wind can be really drying. The drier the air the drier my skin becomes. That’s why I love sugar scrubs. They are great for smoothing out my dry winter skin.

If you’ve never made a sugar scrub before, they are really easy to make. This recipe uses ingredients I’m sure you’ll be able to find right in your cupboard or at least at any local grocery store.

  2. I have been making sugar scrubs for over 2 years now and absolutely LOVE them. I just made one with rice bran oil and it is divine! Also made lotion with that oil and it makes you so smooth and silky.
Love doing things myself and the amount that you save is totally awesome! My son reaps the benefits of that! LOL
This last scrub was rice bran oil, brown and white sugar with a bit of Epsom salt. Fragrance was Ocean Breeze with a touch of Yuzu. HEAVENLY!

Love getting creative and seeing the end results!
