What to Cook for Dinner?
Do you just go with the flow?
Before starting this challenge I was definitely a go with the flow type person. I would just go with what I needed to do for the day. Sometimes not eating breakfast until after 10 am and running around trying to get everything done without slowing down at all.
Now I notice if I start my day with some quiet time of my own I don’t feel like I jump out of bed running. It has changed my attitude of how I deal with my kids, how I go about my day and I feel so much more relaxed.
Why would going with the flow be a bad thing? When you go with the flow something else is driving your day instead of you. So your life can feel out of control, like you don’t have the time for what is most important to you. At least that is how I used to feel.
When you take control of your day, you drive your day towards what you want to do and what is most important. You can rise above, be more than average. You can make a real difference in your home life, your work life and your world. Take a little time today to slow down and really enjoy your day.
