What to do with 9 pounds of apples

I got such a great deal at Grocery Outlet on Apples I needed to do something with them so this is what I did:

First I put some in my dehydrator to make some apple chips:

Then I did another batch in the dehydrator to make apple chunks for adding to our homemade oatmeal:

If we were in need of applesauce I would have made it too but I had just purchased some at Costco. So we will just eat the rest fresh or maybe I will make a apple crisp. Do you have any good apple recipes?

  1. What a good idea to add dried apple chips to homemade oatmeal! I never would have thought to do that….bet it tastes a lot better than those little packets from the store 🙂

    1. The homemade packages are so much better than the store bought. We don’t add sugar to ours. We also dry stawberries to put into them. They turn out really well.
