Meals for the Week of 1/8/12
When I do my meal planning I usually plan for a whole month at one time. But because I know that can be overwhelming to someone who has never done meal planning I will just post one weeks meals at a time. I only plan our dinner menus as lunch for my husband at work is usually a sandwich and other things to go with it. For the kids and myself we usually eat leftovers, sandwiches or whatever I have found a good deal on that week on fruits and veggies. So the lunches don’t vary much. Breakfast at our home on a weekday consist of oatmeal, toast, eggs and/or sometimes ham or sausage if we have it. On the weekends we almost always have pancakes, muffins or waffles.
So here is our meals of the week:
Chicken strips, mashed potatoes, and green beans
Sweet asian chicken, rice and stir fry veggies
Pizza and salad
BBQ Meatballs, mashed potatoes,watermelon and brussels sprouts(I have a good way to make these here.)
C.P. Chicken Ole, Salad and Tortilla Chips
Smotheredย ย Steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans
Chicken and Artichoke Casserole, Roasted Vegetables and apples
