Goals for this Week, June 14th

My goals for this week and how last week went too.

I made a little progress with working on my rug. I when I say a little, I mean really little. I decided this week after looking at it. It all needs to come out and I need to start over. I started to take it apart. I know it’s not much progress but it’s a little.

I spent picking raspberries and strawberries in the garden and making jam. We didn’t get any lettuce this week. I think with all the hot weather it slowed it down. But the last few days have been much cooler, so we should be harvesting a head or two this week.

The kids loved the warmer weather for playing squirt guns. They both have a lot of fun with it. I try to avoid getting hit with water when I’m outside with them, but my son, usually can’t resist squirting me too.

I took a few photos and videos this week. Did you see the video tutorial on how to make freezer jam from yesterday? I should have two more coming up soon. Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel, so you’ll know when a new video comes out.

We didn’t get to make the craft I had planned. But the kids did make a couple of felt carrots for my son’s bunny. They did it all on their own, only asking me how to sew it together. I’m so glad I taught my daughter to use a sewing machine. She has now taken it upon herself to teach her brother too. It’s fun to watch them working together. That’s how our week went last week.
